Woodcroft Financial Services

After a career in pharmaceutical research I changed direction and joined the financial services industry. I started as an adviser and became a Branch Manager with a major life company. With the changing industry and the closure of life office branches I became an Independent Financial Adviser specialising in pension planning and investments. In 2001 I started Woodcroft Financial Services and am the Practice Principle and founder. Hobbies include walking, keeping reasonably fit, and playing the financial markets.

I joined Terry in 2005 but have worked in the mortgage arena for over 25yrs, including a spell with a major lender.
Living in Shrewsbury with my wife Gemma and our 2 girls, Maisie and Ruby, we enjoy walking around the Shropshire hills/landmarks with our dog Pixie. We go canoeing on the Severn when we get a chance and are looking forward to some trips on Lake Bala soon. I like almost all types of music and play guitar and sing with my band in Shropshire and the surrounding areas.

I joined Terry in 2004 but have worked within Financial Services for over 25 years.
I have been married to Sarah for 29 years and we have 1 son, Jack. I'm a season ticket holder at Stoke City enduring the high and low points that has brought over the years. As a family we enjoy travelling and visiting new places. Oh, and we love French wine.

I joined Terry in 2001 when Woodcroft was first formed and have over 30 years experience advising clients.
I am happily married to Janet and we have one daughter and two lovely grandchildren. My interests involve the family and some DIY (motto: when in doubt consult an expert).
We like to space our year out with regular holidays to recharge those batteries.

I joined Woodcroft Financial Services as a Financial Adviser in 2016 after spending 14 years working within the financial service industry. I have a wealth of knowledge helping many customers over this time, working both as a face to face adviser and as back office member of staff. This has given me the experience and expertise to ensure that I can give you the help and advice that bests suits your needs.
